The windshield looks bad, but works very good.

Italians did their best to make the assembly as complicated as possible. It says "patented" - I wonder how many pages to describe all bits & pieces. But it does the job, so I'm glad.

I have a black Givi Trekker 58l on another bike and I just bought this one. I can say that appart from the size, the only difference between Kappa and Givi are the 4 lugs on the lid (here are fully metal, for Givi are partially plastic). Materials and quality are 99% the same.

Sits over the original black plate which remains in place. Installed very solid and the topbox sits firmly in place.

This rack comes with the black, plastic plate (the Givi M5 plate) and strong metal fixing bars. You have to drill 4 holes into the original Triumph plastic cover at the tail. Bad news - these holes are Ø17mm; i used a special drill as in the pic attached, which was cheap and easy to get at the local DIY shop and can be used with a regular power drill. Good news - the plastic cover has factory-made marks on the backside that point the exact location where you must drill; this makes things a lot more easier.
